I'm a new member here but have been on other forums that incorporate that feature and love that you are doing that as well. Is there any way to be able to post more than one photo per story? :) Thanks! By: Cynthia Quispe , On

Hi, I am a new member, and a new rider. I decided to get my endorsement (Much to my husbands dismay, and the rest of my family) Any one else have the issue of your whole family not understanding why you wanted to ride? I need sugesstions to help me handle them. I don't want to upset or loose my hubby, he is terrified of me getting hurt. I took the riders class, and extensive riding course to get my endorsement. I have tried to make him understand that this is something I want, and don't want to give up. Help! By: kim sisk , On

Being in my 50's I get a lot of those looks....ah, she must be going through a mid-life crisis I took the safety course, passed and got my license. I have outgrown my my Honda Rebel 250 - my starter bike - and have my eye on a Harley Sportster. But, I got NO MONEY HONEY! Oh well..... someday. By: Donna Mullenax , On

Not sure why your family object? You could point out the study that the percentages of injured motorcyclists did not take the safety class. You could point out that it's "rider beware" and you're in control of your bike. And, sure to please them, you could point out that you increased your life insurance and made them the beneficiary! All joking aside, we all take risks every day, taking the course is one way you mitigate the risk. I know folks who lost their kids in trucks, in cars. You can't avoid every risk in life, riding is fun and doing it safely is the game! By: Gloria Sargent , On
