Biker women, how many of you drive a pickup truck? The reason I ask is because it seems that pickups and motorcycles go hand and hand. How many of you women motorcycle riders go off road driving? How many biker women have you seen towing a pair of bikes down to Daytona? I have seen quite a few.
It seems to be the trend that women are getting into both motorcycling and pickups. There are more women motorcycle owners that own pickup trucks then ever before. I see a pattern developing here! It isn’t just a man’s world any more. Women riders are popping up everywhere in pickup trucks.
It only stands to reason that if a women owns a motorcycle, at one time or another, if it’s not running or when she need to get it some place that she can’t ride it to, she will need a truck to haul it around.
So with that said, if you are a woman motorcyclist and you own a pickup truck, here are a few things that can make your truck customized and more functional.
Any biker women will tell you that riding your bike will save you money at the pumps. What about when you are in your truck? Pickups are infamous for being gas guzzlers. One way you can beat high gas prices if you drive a pickup is, with a tonneau cover. Tonneau covers are a good investment for your pickup truck if you are interested in protecting your valuables and especially if you are interested in increasing your gas mileage.
Another thing you should have on your truck is a set of nerf bars. Nerf bars are basically the long tubular side steps that you see on pickups and four wheel drives. Listen biker girl, nerf bars are great to have if your only 5’ 2” tall and your truck has a 6 inch lift kit on it.
Speaking of lift kits, a serious lift kit from SuperLift will make any biker woman’s truck seam like a monster. And yes size does matter… If you get a lift kit, you’re going need a set of heavy duty shocks and some sweet tires to go with it. I recommend Rancho shocks and Nitto tires.
Biker girl, Rancho shocks are the shocks that off-road driving enthusiasts get, when getting shocks for their vehicle. Rancho shocks are the essential heavy-duty, performance truck shocks.
Nitto tires offer year-round all-terrain performance. They are rated number one by a leading consumer magazine for their balance of exceptional wet and dry performance, comfort and low road noise. Plus they are very affordable.
Ok biker woman, you have the tonneau cover, the lift kit, the shocks and the tires. Here is the thing that will complete this ensemble, finder flares. Finder flares are custom molded attachments that mount securely into the wheel well openings of your truck, Jeep or SUV. Fender flares offer a unique opportunity for motorcycle women to customize their vehicle by flaring the finders while not going to the expense of actually adding side body modifications. They are a must if you want to run wider tires.
I know it may seem a little funny to, talking about pickup trucks and custom modifications and the like. But seriously biker girl, you have taken the step and got off of the back and got your own motorcycle. Well isn’t it time you stopped relying on your man to haul the thing around? Also, if you’re a single motorcycle girl, guys like chicks that drive pickup trucks.
Its time motorcycle women stopped being posers and started doing the things that they have a heart to do. In my mind, riding motorcycles and driving pickup trucks are what true motorcycle women are supposed to do.
