Women Riders, Once Again It's Women Riders Month
Motorcycle Women everywhere are being honored this May. Once again it is women rides month. Harley Davidson dealers all around the world are hosting rides and parties that celebrate women riders. If you can, get on down to Milwaukee May 22nd & 23rd to be a part of one of the biggest events for women that ride motorcycles ever.
If you are a woman and you ride a motorcycle you won’t want to miss this. Party the Harley Davidson way, downtown Milwaukee at the Harley Davidson Museum. No matter what motorcycle you ride you don’t want to miss this two day bash.
A true motorcycle woman, great-granddaughter of one of the co-founders of Harley-Davidson Karen Davidson will be there. So come out to meet her and mingle with other biker women. The highlight of the motorcycle women’s Milwaukee event is the Saturday group ride that starts at the Summerfest Grounds and ends at the street party downtown. Like all great parties there will be live music and great food, I heard there is even going to be a beer garden.
The downtown street party on Saturday night is going to be wide open fun for women riders, and women that don’t ride a bike, so bring a friend! The event is free and open to biker women and biker dudes. The party features:

- Food Specials - Enjoy signature dishes from a variety of Milwaukee establishments for a taste of the local culture.
- Special Rider Recognition - Join in observing members of US and international motorcycle groups who have come from near and far.

You can bring the ol’ man along on the group ride, because men are welcome to ride and show their support for the female riders in their lives.
Women motorcycle riders from all across the country are already gearing up to celebrate freedom and enjoy two days of fun full of outdoor activities and entertainment. If you are one of the lucky motorcycle women that can make it to Milwaukee here are some of the things you can enjoy.

- Not a rider yet? Hop on this cool, stationary Harley Learn to Ride Simulator to get the feel of a V-twin and shift through the gears.

- Learn the proper technique for lifting a fallen motorcycle at the bike lift seminar
- Enjoy live music by local artists.
- Check out the latest Harley-Davidson fashions, including the Pink Label Collection at the fashion show. (Saturday only)
- When you're ready for your ride home have your motorcycle blessed. Bike Blessing. (Sunday morning only)

Because it is May, it is women’s ride month and it is in Milwaukee, it wouldn’t be complete with out the Wisconsin Products Passport Ride. By riding to Harley Davidson dealerships and Milwaukee businesses Saturday and Sunday and completing your passport, you can fin prizes. If you turn your completed passport in by three P.M. on Sunday you will have a chance to win a Pink Label women’s motorcycle jacket and other really cool stuff.
Also if you are a motorcycle woman on a mission and shopping is that mission, several of the local Milwaukee businesses are offering special discounts and deals for all women riders that are registered. Don’t worry if you rode in, most of the businesses are offering free shipping if you reach an identifiable spending amount. See, nothing to worry about; getting all that great stuff home will be a breeze.
